And “Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park,” home to the dolphin swim program, is a beautiful conservation area located in the heart of the island, beach side and just a short taxi ride from the cruise ship piers. The park was created to protect the incredible fauna & flora species native to the Island and our world-renowned coral reefs. What else can I do here? Plan to spend the day and walk along a vast area of lush vegetation with the background humming of Mayan drums and the blowing of conch shells. Visit our natural, clear water cenote (say-no-tay)with orange & bright green iguanas moving about freely. Check out the vast beach area, Mayan history recreations and many other exciting attractions! A nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve the Tour Guide. We recommend the balance to be paid in cash USD upon arrival. Visa/MasterCard is accepted upon arrival. Credit cards incur an 8% Mexican business fee. Additional Information • For safety reasons pregnant women (5 months and up) can’t participate in any of our aquatic programs. Women with less than 5 months into their pregnancy can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a Responsibility Form. • If you have any health or physical disability, please contact us before you make your reservation so we can provide you full information about our services. • Please use biodegradable sunscreen to protect the environment and marine species. • Bring towels and cash for taxis, shopping, meals, etc.
